- MRCS On The Go aims to facilitate your revision with flashcard-esque formats to encourage active recall and, at the same time, offer explanations to aid your learning process. For concepts you find challenging, revisit the topic frequently and attempt to answer the questions before toggling the answer. 🤓
- High-yield concepts indicated in red and/or with a ‘🌟’ should be given more attention during your revision!
Do I need to download the Notion app to get access?
- No. Upon subscription, we’ll send you a link to which you can access via the internet.
Are these flashcards downloadable? / Can I get a PDF copy?
- Unfortunately not. Our team has designed the notes in a flashcard-esque format to promote active recall (which is one of the most effective learning methods). By downloading the notes into PDF format would negate this purpose.
How long should I spend preparing for MRCS Part A?
- While there is no hard and fast rule, and everyone’s circumstances differ, we observed that peers who prepared for at least 4-6 months are more likely to pass the exam on their first attempt.
- Additionally, those with a solid foundation of applied basic science knowledge (i.e., Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Microbiology, Statistics) and managed to repeat their choice of question bank twice, also have higher chances of passing the exam on their first try.
Since this resource is created by doctors for doctors, why isn’t it free?
- During our exam preparation, we noticed MRCS teaching courses offered by various companies priced at astronomical amounts $$$. We recognize the need for affordable study materials that won’t break the bank and are actually helpful for revision. So we made and structured these notes to optimize your revision no matter your circumstances.
- Having gone through the exam ourselves, we know that feeling of unease when jumping into question banks or being left even more confused after attempting them.
